How Does Your Garden Grow- Part 1

I thought I would do something a little different on my blog this spring/summer and journal every now and again about my garden. If your thinking it sounds slightly like watching paint dry...it won't be. You see I have absolutely NO idea what I am doing so this should be quite entertaining.
Today was day one....Planting day. Prior to today I prepared by doing..what else? Read a book!!!
Hey...it says Bible right on the cover so I can't go wrong. I have tried a small garden before without much luck. Much to my surprise I found out I was not using the correct system. So, now I will use Ed's High-Yield, never fail, W-O-R-D system and I too will have tons of beautiful produce.

I'm ready, have all the cast of characters including the queen of the garden....7 Celebrity tomato plants,
and I have already probably made a mistake. I should not have planted anything until after tax day, April 15th. My zeal got the best of me and I decided to go out on a limb, take the risk, and pray we don't have a late freeze. If the forecast calls for one I figure me out by my garden with a bonfire all night will make for an interesting blog entry.

Well regardless of the weather I am committed now. They are in the ground and nicely watered...just as Ed instructed!

Wide beds
Organic method
Raised bed
Deep soil

I'm feeling really good about this!

Except for one thing........

This farming is really hard on a  girl's nails.
