Spring Colors

Kaiser, Mom and I went for a drive this evening and found that Spring had busted out all over! It looked like the scene in "The Wizard of Oz" when Dorothy opened the door to full technicolor. We decided to have a scavenger hunt to see who could find the most colors of Spring.

BROWN
mushrooms growing in the crook of a tree...

Brown muddy Boots on the porch after the rain

A boy's worn leather mitt and ball ready to play on a warm spring day.

YELLOW
Dandelions are a Mother's bouquet

Beautiful fields of canola below a bright blue sky
Daffodils = spring

PINK/ PURPLE
Why is this tree called a "Red" bud when it is clearly pink...

WHITE
A big white dog who guards his sheep

Fluffy white clouds

we called these "wish-nicks"...I dont know why??

Hello little white goat

and nothing says spring quite like a lamb

GREEN
No other color defines spring more than green

Spring is the season of Hope, rebirth, and new beginnnings. It is always welcomed after the long winter's sleep.
(Thanks to the Ott's for letting me wander about their farm and take pictures of thier babies)

Seriously great photos! I love the redbud branch. Goats are my new obsession and I think it's because it was the one animal we never had on the farm. Thanks for sharing Dawn.
